The Olympic Gripper Pad... Super close contact is achieved with the 1/4"thick, small diamond quilted center. The fleece edge helps keep the saddle centered on the pad, while strategically placed gripper patches ensure no slippage against the horse or the saddle while still maintaining the sweat wicking abilities of the 100% white cotton quilted flannel bottom. A contoured spine means that this pad will be comfortable for your horse.

Straps or no Straps That is the question

I will follow up after I get my next Wilker's pad with straps. I have two with no straps. They worked great this winter when my horse had a long winter coat. Now that he has shed the long hair, he is slick as a mole and the strapless pads aren't staying in place.
